STA Advertising Policy
This document will cover the policy on display and recruitment advertising in Swim and Save magazine, online at www.sta.co.uk and any proposed package offers for both. Also covered will be the policy for the Useful Links section of the STA website.
Online advertising – www.sta.co.uk
Display Advertising
A maximum of 3 advertisements will appear on the STA home page at any one time. Each advert will appear for a period of 3 months. The ads position will rotate during the 3 month cycle i.e. each advertiser has 1 month in each position. Ads will be non-animated and feature on the left hand side of the home page.
Rates
An introductory rate of £500 for 3 months will apply and be reviewed after first 3 - 6 month cycle.
Ads should be approximately 50mm x 25mm (portrait) and will include a hyperlink to the advertiser’s website which will appear in a pop-up window.
Advertisers must supply complete artwork direct to Imagine Communications – on disk or via email to: staeditor@imagine-comms.co.uk

Any amends to supplied artwork or production of new artwork will be charged for separately.
All advertising should be booked directly with the STA.
Online advertisers will receive a 25% discount off any advertisement also booked in Swim and Save magazine as a package. Both advertisements must be booked at the same time and appear in the same calendar year to receive this discount.
We strongly advise that all Advertisers must have products/services that are relevant to STA members and within the general ethical policy of the charity. STA reserves the right to reject any advertisement that doesn’t comply.

This service is free to all STA swim schools and members.
Rates for Commercial Organisations
£180 for a maximum period of 4 weeks.
To include copy only advert, and contact details.
Adverts can be booked online or via the STA.

Charging Policy
Listing on the ‘Useful Links’ page remains free of charge to:
- Government Departments / Industry Bodies
- Information sites & sources
- Charities and organisations with charitable status with whom the STA have reciprocal arrangements
A standard advertising fee rate of £375 for 3 months is to be charged to commercial partners or organisations or for any event listings (which must be swimming or related).
The standard fee will include the advertiser’s logo and a maximum of 30 words.
Commercial partners can pay directly or via STA partnership agreements.
STA Swim Schools can be included on ‘Useful Links’ page via a logo / hyperlink only (no copy)
Rate: £250 for 12 months.
