STA is an independent charity looking to appoint a full time support officer to join its Digital Services department for an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of digital and web-based services.

Responsible for providing support and administrative duties, including first line IT support to staff, and support for STA’s digital and web-based services to customers, the role also includes assisting the department with ongoing projects and development of services, document design, editing and branding.

It is essential that applicants hold GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications) in Maths, English and ICT, with A Levels or equivalent qualifications also being desirable. Additionally, applicants must have experience of using Microsoft Office packages, working with and managing database software, and experience of dealing with support and general queries with customers. An understanding of Adobe software packages, HTML, CSS, Javascript, WordPress, e-commerce and e-learning platforms would be an advantage.
