STA Unveils Major Relaunch of First Aid Qualifications with New Courses, Blended Learning, and Enhanced Resources
Safety Training Awards (STA) has today unveiled one of the most significant updates to its first aid qualification offering to date – a full relaunch of its portfolio of regulated professional first aid qualifications.
As part of this transformation, STA is also launching two new all-in-one certification pathways:
These new combined qualifications provide a practical, all-in-one certification option for those needing training in both adult and paediatric first aid – making them an ideal choice for anyone working with mixed-age groups.
In a major leap forward for delivery flexibility, STA is also introducing blended learning options for the first time across several qualifications. Learners can now complete elements of the theory component online using STA’s brand-new e-learning programmes, followed by face-to-face, practical tutoring and assessment.
This blended approach is now available for:
The new online programmes can also be used to support refresher training, helping first aiders keep their knowledge current between certifications.
“This relaunch represents a huge step forward for STA and our members,” said Helen Done, STA’s Qualifications and Business Development Manager. “It’s the result of months and months of work, listening to feedback, reviewing content, and reshaping our qualifications to deliver a more modern, engaging and flexible learning experience. The new all-in-one certification pathways and blended delivery options also give ATCs and tutors even more ways to meet the needs of today’s learners.”
These latest advancements build on the recent launch of STA’s Outdoor and Activity First Aid qualifications and form part of a wider strategic move to provide a complete, future-ready suite of regulated qualifications – all under one awarding organisation.
