Aquatics Take Centre Stage at Elevate 2025

STA, The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) and Swim England are joining forces for the second successive year to ensure aquatics are firmly at the heart of Elevate 2025.
Together, these leading organisations will sponsor the Active Aquatics theatre area – an essential hub within the Elevate exhibition, highlighting aquatics vital role in health, wellbeing, and enjoying aquatics in communities across leisure and fitness centres nationwide.
Located at the rear of the exhibition and surrounded by top aquatic suppliers, this year’s expanded area will feature two dedicated theatres – creating a dynamic space for learning, discussion, and networking.
The theatres’ programmes will address industry challenges, provide innovative solutions from leading experts and operators, as well as deliver a wide range of strategic and operational sessions relevant to aquatic professionals. Topics include:
- Apprenticeships – how recent government changes could impact apprenticeship delivery and training
- How operators are benefiting from technology
- Maximising movement in swimming lessons for neurodiverse learners
- New industry guidance for non-lifeguarded pools
- The importance of staff development and ongoing training
- The operational benefits of employing swimming teachers on contracts
- Stephanie Peacock – Minister of Sport, in conversation with Andy Salmon, CEO of Swim England
- Balancing the Lanes – Strategic Facility Planning & Pool Programming
- School Swimming – Silver Bullet or Sinking Ship
- Why just learning to swim isn’t enough to ensure child safety.
Additionally, members of The Swimming Alliance will host sessions on workforce, school swimming, and inclusion in aquatics.
With a packed agenda, expert speakers, and a strong presence of key suppliers, the Active Aquatic theatres at Elevate 2025 promise to be the most significant and impactful yet—offering a unique opportunity to gain insights, share knowledge, and build valuable connections.
