STA is pleased to announce a new partnership with The Swim Staff Service, a UK-based aquatic staffing service supplying fully qualified and experienced swimming teachers, coaches, lifeguards and water-based entertainers on temporary contracts across mainland UK.

The collaboration has been developed as a non-commercial, workforce development initiative, bringing together STA’s long-standing charitable objective to support the swimming teaching and lifesaving profession with The Swim Staff Service’s focus on sustainable recruitment and staffing solutions.

Bethan Phillips, Head of Client Relations at The Swim Staff Service, said she was keen to partner with STA due to the consistently high standard of swimming teachers and lifeguards trained through STA qualifications.

This partnership will be centred on a shared aim of strengthening the recruitment, development and long-term sustainability of the swimming and lifesaving workforce.

As part of the collaboration, STA will signpost The Swim Staff Service to members and stakeholders seeking support with short-term, temporary or long-term staffing roles. The Swim Staff Service will feature and promote STA across its website and owned communication channels, helping raise awareness of STA’s swimming teaching and lifesaving qualifications.

STA looks forward to working alongside The Swim Staff Service to help support the wider aquatics workforce and the vital role it plays in communities across the UK.
