Help STA preserve human life by the teaching of swimming, lifesaving and survival techniques.

Today with more than 10,000 members, the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA) is an independent swimming teaching and lifesaving charity working tirelessly to preserve human life by the teaching of swimming, lifesaving and survival techniques to people of all ages.

With such a monumental task ahead of us, the support of the public is a vital part of our delivery of this aim and we rely on your support in order to make this possible.

If you’d like to support STA, you can make a donation to us to ensure we can continue the lifesaving effort!

Support STA

STA’s Claire Brisbourne and STAnley, our water safety mascot, volunteering at the Shrewsbury River Festival in June 2016 in support of National Water Safety Week.

It’s through generous donations from the public that we’re able to run charitable campaigns to raise awareness of water safety and prevent needless deaths. If you’d like to participate in one of our campaigns or get involved in helping STA organise and run one of them, please click on an event below to find out more.
