Digital Services Manager
STA is an independent swimming teaching, lifesaving and leisure management organisation and is looking to appoint a support officer to join its Digital Services department for an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of digital and web-based services.
The successful applicant will report to STA’s Digital Services Manager and will be responsible for providing a variety of support and administrative duties including first line IT support for staff and support for STA’s digital and web-based services to customers. The role also includes developing STA’s e-learning packages and assisting the department with other ongoing projects and developments of its services, as well as document design, editing and branding—conforming to STA’s brand guidelines.
It is essential for applicants to hold GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Maths, English and ICT, with A Levels or equivalent qualifications also being desirable.
Experience of using Microsoft Office packages is essential. It is also desirable for applicants to possess experience in using Adobe Acrobat and other Adobe software packages, as well as working with e-learning platforms.
Applicants should also possess the skills and experience to resolve support and general queries from customers, including IT support.
The successful applicant must have good IT skills and excellent administrative and organisational abilities with close attention to detail. Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills are also required, as well as time management skills and the ability to work on their own initiative and as a part of team.
