As parents prepare for Coronavirus self-isolation and potential primary school closures, many will be looking for ideas on how to keep their children busy with activities that are both entertaining and educational. Using our resources, we’ve created a free downloadable water safety educational pack to help teach children how to stay safe in and around water in a fun and engaging way.
The pack contains our 40-page Water Safety Booklet, which is aimed at children aged eight years and over. This bright, colourful booklet contains lots of fun activities that can be completed at home; educational activities that the whole family can get involved with too, so everyone can learn about water safety.
For younger children, there are lots of free different colouring-in sheets. Kids love colouring-in, but educationally it also helps hone fine motor skills and helps improve pencil grip – and gives little ones an opportunity to get creative and enjoy screen-free time.
For Octonauts fans, there is also a range of learning activities featuring the TV Show’s favourite characters. Plus, lots more, including Easter themed activities featuring our loveable water safety mascot, STAnley.
We’d also love to see pictures of the activities you complete over the coming weeks.

If you’re also looking for additional educational resources relating to the national curriculum and are preparing your children for their SAT exams, there are thousands of FREE downloadable KS1-KS4 resources available from Twinkl.
