New Website for Safety Training Awards

STA’s awarding organisation, Safety Training Awards, has launched a dedicated website today at www.safetytrainingawards.co.uk, which will become the new home for all information related to aquatic, lifesaving, pool plant and first aid qualifications.

Safety Training Awards is the organisation that is responsible for awarding and administering our qualifications, and upholding standards of compliance and delivery

As an awarding organisation regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), Qualifications Wales and the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) and as an awarding body accredited by SQA Accreditation, Safety Training Awards offers and certificates vocational qualifications across a range of aquatic, lifesaving and health and safety disciplines.

Safety Training Awards is also a CIMSPA Awarding Organisation Partner with many qualifications endorsed too, including all the Level 2 and Level 3 aquatic qualifications and first aid qualifications.

Dave Candler, STA CEO explains: In simple terms Safety Training Awards is the organisation that is responsible for awarding and administering our qualifications, and upholding standards of compliance and delivery in accordance with the rules set by the regulatory bodies.

The new website being dedicated to Safety Training Awards makes it easier for learners, STA course organisers and tutors to find the information they need about our qualifications and awarding organisation policies quickly and efficiently

The new website has been created with the aim of further raising awareness of Safety Training Awards as STA’s awarding organisation subsidiary. We believe it will also make it easier for course organisers and prospective learners to access information about all the qualifications we provide, said Dave.

Ryan Coleman, STA’s Digital Communications Manager confirms: STA’s main website hosts a plethora of information, so it’s important that this is organised in a way that is easy for our visitors to find and understand. The new website being dedicated to Safety Training Awards makes it easier for learners, STA course organisers and tutors to find the information they need about our qualifications and awarding organisation policies quickly and efficiently.

All the existing services offered via STA Online will remain on the STA charity site at www.sta.co.uk, although STA Online login links have been included on the Safety Training Awards website for quick access.

Ryan adds: This is the first stage in the website’s development. At the moment, its function is to provide information on the qualifications awarded by Safety Training Awards. In the long-term, it will provide a platform for STA-affiliated course organisers and tutors to access all things related to Safety Training Awards policies, procedures and resources, as well as CPDs/e-learning, plus all the latest news and updates regarding our awarding body.
