2019 Membership Fees Offer Added Value Benefits

STA members are afforded many benefits for just a small fee per year, namely subsidised public liability insurance, savings on awards programme and discounts on selected items on the STA Swim-Shop. Plus, members are able to take advantage of exclusive discounts from our partners—when calculated these are all added-value benefits that can really save members money.

Our aim is to make sure these cost-benefits continue, so for 2019 STA membership fees will only be increased by £1. If members pay by direct debit, this is just £43 per annum (less than 12p a day). To cover costs, we will also only be adding £1 onto all course registration fees (except for first aid qualifications). These will both come into effect on 1st January 2019.

Re-Introducing Bulk Discounts on Swimming Manuals

Safety Training Awards’ approved training centres (ATCs) have welcomed the news that bulk discounts on both the Award and Certificate in Teaching Swimming manuals are being re-introduced.

As of 1st January 2019, STA is implementing an annual kick-back scheme, whereby if an ATC purchases 100+ manuals over a 12-month period, they will receive a credit note at the end of the year for a set fee of £7 per manual.
