Swimming Teacher Mentor Course – New Dates Announced
Following the success of the first Swimming Teacher Mentor course earlier this year, STA has a second scheme running on 24–28th October at Willenhall E-Act Academy (WV12 4BD).
The week-long course includes the Safety Award for Teachers, the STA Level 2 Award in Swimming Teaching and the Safeguarding Children unit. Once candidates have completed the training they will be required to volunteer 20 hours at a local swim school to work alongside a mentor to gain further knowledge and practical experience.
